LE CIRQUE
Through this project, I wanted to pay tribute to the world of the Circus, to understand its origin, its strength, its symbols, its characters. It's the story of a man. A military horseman. A ring. A diamond. A ring found on the ground in the streets of London in 1768, thanks to which he was able to found the first modern Circus. His first characters: the Horseman, the Acrobat, the Trapezist, the Clown. This project is about playing with symbols and reinterpreting them. Creating a dialogue between artistic practice and physical performance. Tia, an Acrobat Dancer, embodies this emblematic figure from the history of the Circus, a practice at the crossroads between the origins of the Circus and contemporary Circus. Beyond that, every place, every garment, every detail, every figure has a meaning. It is up to you to find it.
